Freecrop for X

A free-form cropper that opens when you add an image to a post. Crop, mark up, then add it to your post, copy it or save it.

Crop and mark up images before you post them on X, without leaving the post box. Freecrop opens a free-form cropper the moment you add an image to a post. Drag the crop to any shape or lock it to Original, 1:1, 4:5 or 16:9, mark the image up, then press Done. Your edited image replaces the original in your post, or you can copy it or save it as a file. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Free-form crop or fixed ratios (Original, 1:1, 4:5, 16:9) • Mark up with arrows, boxes, highlights, a freehand pen, text and numbered badges • Pixelate (blur out) names, emails, faces or anything private • Choose where Done sends the image: add to post, copy to clipboard, or download • Save as PNG, JPEG or the original format, into a subfolder of your choice • Keyboard shortcuts for every tool (C, V, P, A, R, H, T, N, B), and Enter to finish • Screenshot the visible part of any tab, keep up to 12 in the popup, then copy, download or open one in the editor PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Your images are edited on your device. Freecrop never uploads them to its servers. • Exported images are rebuilt from their pixels, so camera and location metadata is not carried over. • Optional random file names, blurred screenshot previews, and automatic deletion of saved screenshots after 1 hour, 1 day or 7 days. • No ads, no analytics, no tracking. FREE AND PRO Core cropping is free. Some tools are part of Freecrop Pro, with a 7-day free trial and a one-time payment (no subscription). Sign in with just your email and a one-time code. Works on x.com and twitter.com. Screenshots use only the tab you are on, and only when you click the button. Freecrop is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by X Corp.
