All I get is an elegant blue screen with a reticle in the center - no options, no menus just a blank blue screen

French name

This French translation sounds very stupid : "Cartes Gratuit Souverain".

"Souverain" = king in french.

In this case, "Ruler" have to be translated as "Règle".

Then the correct translation should be :
"Règle pour Google Maps gratuite" or "Règle gratuite pour Google Maps".
