Free Auto Refresh Free Auto Refresh is a simple and powerful Chrome extension for automatically refreshing webpages and monitoring page changes. Set a fixed or random refresh interval, track refresh activity with live counters, stop refreshing based on time or refresh limits, and automatically detect when specific text or page content appears, disappears, or changes. Auto Refresh Automatically reload any supported Chrome tab at your chosen interval. Set the minimum and maximum interval to the same value for a fixed refresh timer, or use different values to generate a random refresh interval for every refresh cycle. Live On-Page Counter See your refresh activity directly on the webpage with a draggable on-page counter. It shows the current refresh count and countdown, with quick controls to pause or stop the refresh session. Toolbar Refresh Counter The extension icon displays the live refresh count for the active tab so you can monitor refresh activity without opening the extension. Refresh Limits Control how long automatic refreshing continues. You can stop after a specific number of minutes, after a specific number of refreshes, or use both limits together. Page Watching Automatically stop refreshing when something important happens on the webpage. You can watch for specific text to appear, specific text to disappear, or changes to page content. For content-change monitoring, you can optionally use a CSS selector to watch a specific element of the page. Smart Pause Free Auto Refresh can skip a refresh while you are actively typing in a form field, helping prevent your work from being interrupted by an automatic page reload. Hard Reload Use the optional hard reload mode when you need to bypass cached content and reload the page more completely. Pause and Resume Pause an active refresh session and resume it whenever needed without having to configure the refresh settings again. Keyboard Shortcut Quickly start or stop auto refresh on the current tab using Alt+Shift+R. The shortcut can be changed through Chrome extension shortcut settings. Desktop Notifications Get a desktop notification when a page-watching condition is matched so you can quickly know when the information you are waiting for appears or changes. Tab Title Flash When a watch condition is triggered, the tab title also flashes to help get your attention even when you are working in another tab. Independent Per-Tab Refresh Each browser tab has its own independent refresh session and settings. Refresh activity in one tab does not control or interfere with another tab. Dark Mode Use the extension interface with a dark mode for a more comfortable experience. Privacy Focused Free Auto Refresh does not collect your data and does not make network requests. Refreshing, page watching, counters, and monitoring are handled locally in your browser.
