Overview

Stateless, zero-vault deterministic password generator with 1-click username and password autofill by Master Manikant Yadav.

FrankPass Pro - Stateless Password Generator & Autofill Generate your passwords. Autofill your logins. No cloud password vault required. FrankPass is a privacy-focused password generation and browser autofill extension built around a different approach to credential management: instead of storing every password in a centralized vault, it derives credentials on demand from your Master Secret Key and account-specific inputs. Your password-generation workflow runs locally in your browser. The same supported inputs and derivation settings are designed to produce the same password again, so you can regenerate credentials when needed without maintaining a cloud password database. WHY FRANKPASS? Traditional password managers store credentials in encrypted vaults, either locally or on remote servers. FrankPass takes a different architectural approach by deriving passwords when you need them. • No centralized cloud password vault for generated credentials. • Deterministic password generation using consistent inputs. • Direct browser autofill designed to avoid copying passwords to the system clipboard. • Privacy-focused, offline-first operation. • Optional Pro features for users who need multiple identity profiles. FrankPass does not eliminate every security risk. Your device, browser, Master Secret Key, and the websites you use remain important parts of your security. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open FrankPass from your browser. 2. Identify the website or service for which you need a password. 3. Enter your Master Secret Key. 4. Provide an optional username or account identifier when managing multiple accounts on the same platform. 5. Generate your password and use the available autofill feature. 6. Return whenever you need to regenerate the credential using the same inputs and settings. Important: FrankPass is deterministic, not a conventional random-password vault. You must remember or securely preserve the required inputs and use consistent settings. Losing your Master Secret Key or changing an input may prevent you from reproducing a previous password. CORE FEATURES (FREE) 1. Stateless Password Generation Generate account-specific passwords on demand rather than maintaining a centralized database of generated credentials. 2. Direct Autofill Fill supported login fields directly through the extension without routing the password through the operating system clipboard. Autofill is subject to website compatibility and browser security restrictions. 3. Website and Domain Recognition Identify the current website and use the extension's supported domain or brand-normalization rules to derive the appropriate credential. 4. Cryptographic Key Derivation FrankPass uses browser WebCrypto and PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA512 with 1,000,000 iterations in its documented derivation architecture. The resulting security depends on the complete implementation, Master Secret Key strength, and other derivation inputs. 5. Keyboard Shortcut Use Ctrl+Shift+F on Windows or Linux, or Command+Shift+F on macOS, where supported and configured in Chrome. Browser or operating-system shortcut conflicts may require changing the assigned shortcut. 6. Numeric PIN Generation Where available in the installed version, generate 4-, 6-, or 8-digit numeric codes for supported use cases. A generated PIN is not a substitute for a bank's or payment provider's authentication and security requirements. 7. Light and Dark Themes Choose the interface appearance that suits your preference. 8. Clipboard Auto-Clear When using the manual-copy fallback, the extension can clear the clipboard after the configured timeout. This cannot guarantee that other applications have not already copied the contents. OPTIONAL PRO FEATURES FrankPass Pro is designed for users who need additional local identity management capabilities. Depending on the activated version, Pro features may include: • Multiple identity profiles for personal, work, banking, and family use. • Color-coded profile organization. • Local PIN-protected profile access. • Recovery workflows with anti-theft cooldown protections. • A recovery area for deleted profiles, where supported. • Encrypted backup and import with integrity verification. • Hardware-bound licensing for supported devices. Pro profile storage is distinct from stateless password generation. Review the current product documentation to understand what profile data is stored locally, how it is encrypted, and how recovery works. Pro purchases and licensing are handled through the official FrankBase Store. Payment processing occurs through the applicable external checkout provider, not through the password-generation process itself. Official store: https://store.frankbase.com/ PRIVACY AND SECURITY FrankPass is designed to minimize dependence on centralized credential storage. • Password generation is intended to occur locally in the browser. • The stateless core does not require a cloud database of generated passwords. • Direct autofill is designed to reduce exposure through clipboard monitoring. • The documented cryptographic derivation uses browser WebCrypto. • No telemetry or background network requests are intended during offline core operation. These statements describe the intended architecture and must be consistent with the exact published build, permissions, and network behavior. No browser extension can guarantee protection against every threat. A compromised device, malicious browser extension, phishing site, keylogger, or weak Master Secret Key can still put credentials at risk. Best-effort memory cleanup also does not guarantee immediate physical erasure from RAM. For sensitive accounts, review your browser extensions and use a dedicated browser profile with only the extensions you trust. IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS Frank Pass does not function exactly like a conventional password manager. • It does not automatically recover a forgotten Master Secret Key. • You are responsible for retaining the information needed to regenerate your credentials. • Changing the website identifier, username, variant, password length, or other derivation inputs may produce a different password. • Websites may impose password-format requirements that affect compatibility. • Autofill behavior depends on the site's login implementation. • Local Pro profiles and backups have their own storage and recovery considerations. Before relying on Frank Pass for an important account, test your chosen settings and confirm that you can regenerate and use the resulting credential successfully.
