Your browser has a monster. His name is Frank. Release Frank from his corner cage and watch him grow enormous, break free, shrink back down and devour visible letters as you browse. He follows his meal when you scroll and hunts for another readable block when the page changes. The full collection includes Frank, black holes, UFOs, prisms, wandering eyes, tiny planets and 24 surreal events. Choose which objects and effects appear, adjust intensity and colors, or pause the chaos. A detailed animated New Tab is included, with an optional search box that uses your chosen default search engine through Chrome’s Search API; Frank never changes your search provider. DRAG HIM BACK Grab Frank and drag him into the cage that appears in the bottom-right corner. The first return triggers a giant breakout and he keeps eating. On the second return, he settles into the cage and returns to normal until you release him again. Drop him elsewhere to resume his hunt. YOU STAY IN CONTROL Click an object to dismiss it. Escape clears active effects. Use the extension popup to bring effects back, restore text, mute a site or change your settings. Chrome's Disable and Remove controls always work. LOCAL, VISUAL EFFECTS Frank makes letters disappear on your screen; he does not delete emails or edit saved documents. Page text is processed locally and is never sent to our servers. Refresh a page or use Restore text to undo the visual changes. WHERE FRANK CAN EAT Ordinary HTTP and HTTPS pages with readable DOM text. Google Docs, editable fields, Chrome settings, the Chrome Web Store and protected viewers are excluded. Text inside images, canvas and inaccessible frames cannot be eaten. Motion pauses in hidden tabs and fullscreen. Reduced motion is respected unless you explicitly allow creature animation.
