)Overview
Capture YouTube lecture slides at exact timestamps, write annotated notes, and export professional PDF study booklets.
Framewise turns any YouTube lecture, talk or tutorial into a clean, annotated study deck and a PDF you can keep. It is built for students, researchers, engineers and self-learners: snap the slides that matter while you watch, mark them up, and export. Capture without breaking focus • Press S to snap the current frame while the video keeps playing or use the camera button added to the YouTube player bar, next to CC. • Every capture keeps its exact timestamp, and a small toast confirms it. • Open your slides in a full-tab studio with one click. • Mark up slides with pen, arrow, box, circle, highlighter (adjustable opacity) and rich text boxes. • Select, move and resize any annotation, and undo or redo your edits. • Pick colours from the swatches or the custom picker. • Drag slides to reorder them, or sort back into video order. • Add blank title or note cards in eight paper styles, from white to blueprint. • Switch between saved decks from the header. Everything auto-saves. Popup and side panel • See your captured slides with timestamps, and click one to jump the video to that moment. • Delete a single slide, or clear the whole video. • Saved decks are listed in the popup, and you can drag them into your own order. • Review slides next to the video in Chrome's side panel. Export to PDF • Export your deck as a 16:9 landscape PDF, with a live preview before you download. • It works well for tablets, laptops and printing. Private by design • Everything stays on your device, stored in your browser. • There are no accounts, no uploads and no analytics. • The extension only runs on YouTube. How to use it 1. Open a YouTube video. 2. Press S whenever a slide appears. 3. Click the Framewise icon and choose Review & annotate. 4. Annotate, reorder, then export your PDF.
