Framehush reduces background noise in speech from videos and other audio playing in Chrome, helping you focus on dialogue and narration. Play audio in a tab, open Framehush, and choose Enable denoising. Processing continues when you close the popup. Open Framehush again and choose Stop denoising when you are finished. • Real-time speech noise reduction using RNNoise. • Audio processing stays on your device. No audio recordings, uploads, or transcription. • No account, analytics, or advertising. • English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese interface, selected from your browser language. • Open the popup with Alt+Shift+N. You can change the shortcut in Chrome. Designed for speech. Music and sound effects may change, and background music or overlapping voices cannot always be removed. Some audio/video delay may occur. Chrome internal pages and some protected content cannot be captured. Requires Chrome 116 or later. Permissions: • activeTab selects the tab you choose through the extension action. • tabCapture captures that tab's audio after you enable processing. • offscreen keeps the local audio processor running when the popup closes.
