I've been using this extension for over a year now, and it's been hugely helpful in easing my vision against bright, white pages. However, recently I've noticed that when this extension is ON, it slows down Gmail pages. It essentially freezes every second. I don't think this was an issue before so I hope the dev patches this bug soon. Otherwise, thank you for this awesome extension!

The fact that these guys forgot to even take off the "Completely free!! No in-app purchases!!" is hilarious. Code can be duplicated in a heartbeat and the balls to ask $5/month or $100 to purchase outright is insanity.

I love this Chrome extension. It darkens bright sites in perfect colors, so the UX of the website remains fully intact. In fact, most of the times, I am not even aware that Dark Mode is active. I highly recommend it. Also, because the screen is way darker, less energy is consumed by the monitor to brighten the images. This way Dark Mode also contributes to energy saving and thereby less environmental impact in the energy supply chain.

I used this extension for the last two YEARS and it was fantastic. I literally recommended it to everyone. It dramatically reduced my frequent migraines while writing. Now it's behind a paywall. You shouldn't have to pay for a feature that should be free, and is free on many websites. My eyes literally can't stand the strain of a bright, white screen, and it's not fair to have to pay for that. Absolutely do not use this app.
