2FA Autofill
1 rating
)Overview
Stores your 2FA (TOTP) secrets in an encrypted vault and fills verification codes on the sites you choose.
Move your accounts from Google Authenticator to Chrome in minutes, and never type a 2FA code again. IMPORT FROM GOOGLE AUTHENTICATOR IN 3 STEPS 1. On your phone, open Google Authenticator → menu → "Transfer accounts" → "Export accounts" and choose your accounts. 2. In 2FA Autofill, open Settings → "Import from Google Authenticator". 3. Hold the QR code on your phone up to your webcam, or upload a photo of it. Done. All your accounts are added at once. • Works with exports that span several QR codes and tracks which ones you've already scanned • Shows each account's current code so you can check it matches your phone before importing • Spots accounts you already have, so nothing is added twice • Runs entirely on your computer: the QR code is read locally and never uploaded THEN 2FA AUTOFILL FILLS YOUR CODES FOR YOU When a website asks for a verification code, it's entered automatically or with one click, so you don't need to reach for your phone. • Fills verification codes automatically on the websites you choose • A small button next to code fields lets you pick an account with one click • Works with single code boxes and "one box per digit" layouts • Keyboard shortcut: Alt+Shift+O fills the code on the current page • Live codes with a countdown, plus one-click copy • Also add accounts with a setup key or an otpauth:// link • Save the website, username and email with each account • Supports 6 or 8 digits and SHA-1, SHA-256 and SHA-512 SECURITY AND PRIVACY • Your secret keys are encrypted with AES-256 using a key derived from your master password (PBKDF2, 600,000 rounds) • Optional fingerprint / Windows Hello unlock: no need to type your master password every time Chrome starts • Everything is stored only in your browser. Nothing is sent to any server and there is no account to create • The vault locks automatically after a period of inactivity and whenever Chrome closes • Websites never see your secret keys, only the current code, and only on the websites you listed for that account • Encrypted backup and restore Tip: keep the accounts in Google Authenticator as well, and store your websites' backup/recovery codes somewhere safe. If you forget your master password, the vault cannot be recovered. 2FA Autofill is an independent extension and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google. Google Authenticator is a trademark of Google LLC.
