Bug reports that developers can act on. "It just broke" is not a bug report. SafeRewind turns it into one: the video of what happened, the steps that led there, the console errors and the failed network requests, all on one timeline. The person reporting doesn't need to know what any of that is. HOW IT WORKS • Turn SafeRewind on for a tab. It keeps the last 30 seconds in memory (your admin can choose 15 seconds to 2 minutes) and lets go of anything older. • When something goes wrong, press Save. The moments before the bug are already recorded, so there's nothing to reproduce. • Review the recording: say what went wrong in your own words, draw an arrow or a box, blur anything else that's private, and untick anything you'd rather not share. • Send it to Jira, Linear or GitHub Issues as a ticket with the full report attached, or download it as a single web page that opens in any browser. WHAT DEVELOPERS GET • The video, with every click, typed field, page change, console message and network request marked on its timeline • Click any error or failed request to jump the video to that moment • Request and response details, and Copy as cURL • Browser, operating system, screen size and the page address PRIVATE BY DEFAULT • Nothing leaves your computer until you press Send. The report goes straight from your browser to your team's tracker, never through SafeRewind's servers. • The recording is kept in memory only, never written to disk, and cleared when the tab closes. • Blur is burned into the video, so it can't be undone. Your admin can have card numbers, emails, passwords and any other page elements blurred automatically in every recording. • Passwords, tokens and sign-in headers are removed from the report before it's stored. What people type into private fields is never recorded. • SafeRewind runs only on the sites you allow, and an icon shows whenever it's on. FOR TEAMS An admin sets SafeRewind up once for the whole team: where reports go, how much to keep, and which page elements are always blurred. Reporters just press Save.
