I can't even disable the "Proxy DNS" option for SOCKS5, why? It works fine on Firefox though.

As mentioned in the included help, Proxy DNS is a Firefox-only feature because Chrome does not support Proxy DNS.

I used to love it but it's gotten less reliable. I'm sad to be looking for alternatives.

Worst extension ever, SOCKS5 Auth does not even work. Just remove it.

SOCKS5 Auth is not supported by Chrome. It's a Chrome limitation. And that's why it doesn't work in FoxyProxy for Chrome. If you need SOCKS Auth, please use FoxyProxy for Firefox. I simply cannot make SOCKS5 Auth work in Chrome until Google supports it under the hood.
