Lost an hour of answers to a timeout, a crash or an accidental reload? FormHop keeps a copy of what you type into web forms, so you can put it back in one click. WHAT IT DOES (FREE) - Autosaves what you type into forms and text boxes as you go – on every site, or only on the pages you choose. - After a reload, crash or session timeout, a small box offers to restore your answers. It never overwrites anything you've already typed. - Right-click any text box and choose "Restore this field" to bring back an earlier answer. - Keeps a printable copy of every form you submit, with each question and your answer – save it as a PDF for your records. - Works with text boxes, drop-downs, tick boxes, options and rich-text editors, including modern sites built with React and Vue, forms embedded from other sites, and web components. WHAT IT NEVER SAVES - Passwords, PINs and one-time codes - Card, bank, tax file and ID numbers - Anything on banking and sign-in pages (skipped by default; add your own sites in Settings) FORMHOP PRO – FOR LONG APPLICATIONS Grant applications, tenders, job and scholarship applications, insurance claims: anything you'd rather draft properly than type into a fragile web portal. - Export a form's questions to a Word document (.docx), including character and word limits. Works with multi-page forms. - Draft and edit your answers in Word or Google Docs, with spell check and your colleagues. - Fill the form back in from your Word draft. FormHop matches each answer to its question, flags anything over the limit, and never presses submit for you. - Keep saved forms for as long as you like, and search across everything you've written. Pro is a paid upgrade: A$19 a year or A$29 once. Every install includes 3 free Pro tries. Recovery and restore are always free. PRIVATE BY DESIGN - Everything FormHop saves stays in your browser. There are no FormHop servers and nothing is uploaded, shared or sold. - Free history is deleted automatically after 7 days. Delete anything, or everything, at any time. - The only network request is a licence check with our payment provider, ExtensionPay. PERMISSIONS, IN PLAIN ENGLISH - Access to websites (asked during setup, and optional): lets FormHop save your answers on every site, so it's already running when something goes wrong. Choose "Only when I ask" instead and it works only on pages where you click its button. - Storage: keeps your saved answers on your computer. - Context menu: adds "Restore this field" to the right-click menu.
