The look is now on the roller. 3. Select other text. It instantly matches. FOUR WAYS TO TRIGGER IT - The paintbrush button in Gmail's compose toolbar. - Right-click a selection: Copy Format and Apply Format. - Keyboard shortcuts: Alt+C to copy and Alt+V to apply (Option+C and Option+V on Mac), rebindable at chrome://extensions/shortcuts. - The Copy Format and Apply Format buttons in the extension popup. WHAT IT COPIES - Font family and size. - Bold, italic, underline, strikethrough. - Text color and highlight (background) color. - Bulleted and numbered lists, and alignment (optional). It removes formatting too: if the source is not underlined, the target loses its underline. A paint matches the source exactly. CHOOSE WHAT CARRIES Open the settings (the gear in the popup) to pick exactly which styles a paint carries. Text styles are on by default, so a paint changes how text looks without disturbing the layout you built. Lists and alignment are optional extras you can switch on.
