Form Rescue saves form entries on this device as you type. It shows when a draft was saved, keeps recent versions, and lets you view, copy, compare, or restore saved text. It never replaces text already on a page without asking. WHAT IT DOES • Saves supported form fields as you type. • Shows when the latest save finished. • Keeps recent versions of each field. • Lets you view, copy, compare, and restore drafts. • Stores drafts only in your Chrome profile. • Works only on websites you allow. • Lets you choose how long drafts are kept and how much storage they can use. • Can encrypt drafts with a password. FIELDS THAT ARE SKIPPED Passwords, payment cards, one-time codes, tokens, private keys, recovery phrases, hidden fields, and file uploads are always skipped. IDs, banking details, and sensitive page types are skipped unless you explicitly allow private fields on that website. SUPPORTED FIELDS Text boxes, email, search, URL, telephone, number, date and time, color, range, checkbox, radio, textarea, dropdown, multi-select, and supported rich-text fields. PRIVACY There is no account, backend, analytics, advertising, cloud sync, or remote code. Form Rescue does not send or sell your form data. Form Rescue is a recovery aid, not a guaranteed backup service. Websites work differently, so keep another copy of critical content. Exported files contain readable text, even when encryption is on.
