Form Recovery – Autosave Typed Text
Overview
Never lose what you type. Autosaves text in forms and editors locally and restores it after a crash, reload, or timeout.
Lost a long comment, an application answer or an email draft because the tab crashed, the page reloaded or your session timed out? Form Recovery quietly saves what you type and lets you get it back with one click. HOW IT WORKS • Saves text from text boxes, textareas and rich-text editors (contenteditable) as you type, including in single-page apps and open shadow DOM components. • When you come back to a page with empty fields, a small "Recover unsaved fields?" prompt appears. Click Restore. • Or open the toolbar popup to copy or restore any saved text. FEATURES • Full version history for every field • Search across everything you've typed • Choose how long text is kept: 1 day to 1 year • Per-site rules: save everywhere except chosen sites, or only on chosen sites • Export to JSON or TXT PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Everything stays on your device. The extension makes no network requests, needs no account and has no analytics. • Never saves passwords, credit-card fields, one-time codes or hidden fields. • Incognito is off by default. • Pause the extension anytime, or delete everything with one click.
