forgot.ly helps you find pages in your Chrome history using natural-language search. Instead of remembering exact titles or URLs, you can type what you remember (for example: “that blog post about React server components from last week”) and forgot.ly ranks likely matches. How it works: • Reads your local Chrome history on your device • Uses lightweight local pre-ranking to find likely candidates • Sends only shortlisted candidates to OpenAI for semantic reranking • Returns top matching pages with reasons Features: • Natural-language history search • Adjustable lookback window • Adjustable candidate limit for speed/cost control • Simple popup UI + settings page Privacy: • Requires History permission to search your browsing history • Shortlisted history candidates are sent to OpenAI to compute relevance • Your OpenAI API key is stored locally in chrome.storage.local for your profile
