Scans what you are about to send on an AI chat site, in your browser, so you can strip personal data out of it first.

Forg3t Shield helps you stop sensitive information before it reaches popular AI tools. It reviews text and supported file uploads locally before they are submitted to AI Websites. When Shield detects personal data, credentials, payment information, identity numbers, confidential business content, or other sensitive values, it pauses the send and lets you review a masked version first. Key features: • Automatic pre-send protection on supported AI websites • Local detection and masking of sensitive values • Protection for text prompts and supported file uploads • Clear review panel before anything is shared • Optional automatic replacement of detected values • Monthly protection counters and privacy-safe compatibility diagnostics • No advertising use and no sale of scanned content Shield is designed around a local-first privacy boundary. Raw prompts, files, detected values, passwords, payment data, browsing history, and authentication credentials are not sold or used for advertising. If you explicitly pair the extension with your Shield account, only limited privacy-safe metadata such as the supported AI service, protection decision, finding count, and quota event—may be sent to enforce plan limits and provide aggregate product metrics. Protect the information you share with AI before the original data leaves your browser.
