Not working anymore for chrome latest version

It's great and still working fine, but I'm sorry to see this message "This extension may soon no longer be supported because it doesn't follow best practices for Chrome extensions." in this page. I hope google respect users with special needs like this addon.

Not working anymore, and no alternatives that I could find. Sad.

Works fine but only most of the time on many websites. One where it's easy to reproduce: Civitai.com. If I middle click on links to open them in new tabs, VERY often Chrome takes me automatically to the newly opened tab. And I constantly need to go back to the tab I was browsing. This extension worked fine for years. But it's now struggling with more recent websites :/ Thanks for coding that extension in the first place anyway. Tried to get BullX to load in background tabs. It didn't work. Not sure if it has anything to do with manifest 3. Bummer.
