You can dive deep on how the Score works, the science behind it, and the industry experts that help us make it happen here: https://www.foodhealth.co/the-methodology The short of it is, we analyze products for factors including lean proteins, low sodium, fiber, and minimally added sugar, Products in 1-19 are indulgences to have sparingly (hey - we love snacks too!), 20-49 are products to have occasionally, 50-79 are products to have most meals, and 80-100 are types of products you want at every meal - whole grains, produce, etc. But you don't have to remember all that.
