Overview

Right-click any text to identify its font, see what actually rendered, and copy the CSS in one click.

Font Picker tells you what any text on the web is set in. Right-click it, choose "Font Details", and you get the font family, size, weight, line height and colour, plus a CSS snippet you can copy straight into your stylesheet. No DevTools. No digging through stylesheets. No guessing. 🔎 WHAT YOU GET • Font family, size, weight, line height and colour, read from the live computed style • The font that is actually rendering, not just the one the CSS asks for • A ready-to-paste CSS snippet, copied with one click • A live preview of the font at heading, body and caption sizes • Works inside iframes, embeds and shadow DOM components 👀 SEE WHAT ACTUALLY RENDERED A font stack can name a dozen families. Your browser uses the first one it can actually load, so when a webfont fails, the page quietly falls back to something else and the CSS still says otherwise. Font Picker shows you both: the full stack the CSS declares, and the family your browser is really drawing with. When they differ, it says so. That is the difference between "the CSS says Satoshi" and "this page is rendering in system-ui because Satoshi never loaded." 🧩 BUILT FOR REAL PAGES • Right-click text inside an embedded video, comment widget or code preview and you get that frame's font, not the outer page's • Reads web components that keep their text inside a shadow root • Tells you when you have clicked empty background, instead of reporting a meaningless browser default 🔒 PRIVACY Font Picker collects nothing and sends nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no tracking and no server. Everything happens locally in your browser. Free, and has been since 2016.
