See if anyone else has reported it with Whistle. You can also monitor your reported listings to see if anyone else reports it, and whether a regulator or other authority confirms that the product is fake/unsafe or not. # SEE THE SIGNAL When you visit a recognised marketplace listing, Whistle does a listing-status check and displays: - The number of reports recorded by FOLO-UP. - Any split between possible unsafe-product and fake-product concerns. - Any official review status available for that listing. - Clear explanations of what each signal does—and does not—mean. # FLAG THE LISTING If you have a genuine concern, Whistle lets you report the current listing as either: - Possible unsafe product - Possible fake product After you select a category and confirm that the report is made in good faith, Whistle collects the listing address, page title and available public product information. This creates an evidence record of the listing, which FOLO-UP, a regulator, or other appropriate authority can use to track the sellers and manufacturers of fake and unsafe products. Whistle cleans up the web address of the marketplace listing you’re flagging by removing common referral and tracking information. It also prevents the same browser installation from reporting any listing more than once. # MY WHISTLE REPORTS Whistle keeps the details (receipts) of the listings you’ve flagged in My Whistle Reports. These receipts remain only in that browser installation. They are permanently lost if Whistle is removed or its extension data is cleared. # PRIVACY AND USER CONTROL Automatic listing-status checks remain disabled until you review the first-use disclosure and choose to enable them. When enabled, only addresses matching recognised marketplace product-listing patterns are checked automatically. FOLO-UP Whistle does not: - Monitor your general browsing. - Read unrelated browser tabs. - Collect passwords or payment information. - Sell Whistle data. - Use Whistle data for advertising or credit decisions. Reports include the listing address and page title, available public product information, the selected concern category, the extension version, good-faith confirmation and random installation/session identifiers. These identifiers support duplicate- and abuse-prevention. # IMPORTANT STATUS LIMITATION A Whistle report is an allegation awaiting human review, not a finding. Report totals do not prove that a product is unsafe, fake, illegitimate, infringing or non-compliant. “No report recorded” does not establish that a product is safe or legitimate. Multiple reports indicate report volume only and do not establish that the concerns have been verified. # INDEPENDENT SERVICE FOLO-UP Whistle is operated by Irelco Ltd. under the FOLO-UP brand.
