Foldview for Google Search
Overview
Control Google's AI Overview: normal, minimized into a button, removed, and placed at its usual spot or in the right column.
Google's AI Overview parks itself at the top of every search and eats half your screen before you even get to real results. Foldview gives you the remote control it should've shipped with. Pick how much AI Overview you actually want to see: - Normal — leave the AI Overview exactly as Google shows it, no changes - Minimized — collapse the AI Overview behind a small "Show AI Overview" button, so it's one click away instead of shoved in your face - Removed — hide the AI Overview completely and jump straight to organic search results Plus position control: Keep the AI Overview at its usual spot above the results, or move it into the empty space on the right side of the page — real estate Google search barely uses anyway. Works whether the AI Overview is shown in full or minimized. That's it. No accounts, no settings menus to dig through, no data collected or sent anywhere — Foldview runs entirely on your machine and just toggles what's already on the page. Good for: - hiding the Google AI Overview / AI summary without blocking search itself - getting a cleaner, faster Google search results page - anyone who wants to disable, minimize, or remove the AI Overview on Google Search - reclaiming the AI Overview clutter without losing the option to check it when you actually want it Works on Chrome, Firefox, and other Chromium-based browsers, across Google's regional domains (google.com, google.fr, google.co.uk, google.de, and more).
