Chrome screen recorder for polished product demos with auto zoom, smooth cursor, local editing, and WebM export.

FocusTake is a Chrome screen recorder for recording polished product demos in one take. Record a browser tab, capture useful interaction cues, let FocusTake generate focus zooms, then refine the result in a local editor and export a clean WebM video. It is built for SaaS walkthroughs, feature launches, support clips, changelog videos, tutorials, and quick product updates where the browser is the story. Main features: - Browser tab recording for product demos, tutorials, and walkthroughs - Auto zoom generated from captured clicks, typing, selection, and scrolling cues when tab access is available - Smooth cursor overlay for cleaner demo playback - Local editor with layout, background, motion, cursor, zoom, trim, and export controls - Browser Tab, Entire Screen, and Application Window capture through Chrome's native sharing picker - Optional tab audio when sharing a browser tab with audio enabled - Optional camera and voice overlay for browser-tab recordings - Local project storage in your browser - Local WebM export - Free export with a FocusTake watermark - FocusTake Pro unlocks watermark-free export, 2K export, 4K export, and lifetime access FocusTake is intentionally focused. It is not a cloud video platform, team workspace, or full video editor. The first version is designed around local recording, local editing, and local WebM export, with license verification used only to activate Pro export benefits. Privacy-aware workflow: - Your recording projects are stored locally in Chrome storage / IndexedDB. - FocusTake does not upload your recorded videos to a video-processing server. - A license key is sent to focustake.dev only when you activate or verify Pro. - Content scripts are injected only when needed for recording-time browser-tab enhancements. Best for: - Founders recording SaaS demos - Product marketers creating launch clips - Support teams making quick walkthroughs - Creators explaining browser-based workflows - Indie makers who want clean product videos without opening a heavy editor
