FocusPocus — Website Blocker

Block distracting sites on a schedule, with a Strict Mode you can't easily switch off.

Willpower runs out. FocusPocus doesn’t. This is a website blocker for people who keep saying “just five more minutes” and lose an hour. Set what’s off-limits and when, once, and your focus time starts protecting itself. Pick the sites and the hours that work for you. Run it weekday mornings, weeknights, or as a one-shot timer for the next few hours. When the window is on, the distractions are gone. When it’s off, everything’s back to normal. Hide the endless scroll without losing the apps you need. The short-form video feeds that keep you swiping disappear, while your messages and searches stay exactly where they are. You keep the useful parts and lose the rabbit hole. Block whole groups of sites in one tap, or add your own. Every built-in list is fully editable, so you decide what counts as a distraction, and a content filter can keep explicit results out of your searches too. Get going in seconds with ready-made setups for the most common goals, then tweak them to fit your day. STRICT MODE: A COMMITMENT YOU CAN’T TALK YOURSELF OUT OF Anyone can install a blocker and switch it off the second it gets inconvenient. FocusPocus is built so you can’t. Flip on Strict Mode and your rules hold until the window ends. You can tighten them while it’s running, never loosen them, so a moment of weakness can’t undo a good decision. Optional password or type-a-sequence unlocks add a little friction right when you need it. When you really mean it, go further: seal the whole extension, stop yourself from installing another browser to sneak around it, and make it stick with a one-click device setup. HONEST BY DESIGN Everything happens on your device. Your schedules and settings stay local, nothing is sent anywhere, and there’s no account, no tracking, and no ads. Stop negotiating with yourself. Set it once and get your hours back.
