FocusGuard for Chromebook - Productivity & Time Manager
Overview
Cloud-managed FocusGuard for Chromebook: guardian policy blocking, approvals, and guided focus goals.
FocusGuard for Chromebook helps families keep schoolwork on track with cloud-managed focus blocks, browser-level blocking, warning pages for mixed-use sites, and guardian approval requests when a child needs temporary access. Parents configure policy in the FocusGuard cloud dashboard, the Chromebook extension syncs the latest policy, and the extension records privacy-safe activity events (domains and URL hashes, not full browsing history). Classification may send the current page URL to FocusGuard cloud so mixed-use sites can be decided accurately; it does not upload page contents, screenshots, or parent passwords. Use this listing for family Web Store installation only. FocusGuard for Chromebook is not managed/tamper-proof, is not a replacement for Google Family Link or Google Admin console controls, and requires Chromebook browser enrollment before enforcement can begin. It does not use the Windows or macOS OS-account-per-child wizard; pair the extension with the child's Google or Family Link account. Physical Chromebook validation is required before any family pilot claim.
