FocusBoom is a context-aware AI productivity extension that works directly on the current webpage. Select text, capture a screen region, or pick page elements to understand content, extract text, translate information, run AI-assisted analysis, and ask follow-up questions without repeatedly switching applications. Key features: • Analyze selected text Select text on a webpage to receive context-aware smart actions and continue asking questions about the result. • Region screenshots Capture a selected area of the current page from the extension toolbar or with the Alt+S shortcut. • Screenshot annotation Add rectangles, text, and mosaic effects. Adjust colors and stroke sizes, undo or redo changes, and copy or download the result. • Text extraction and translation Extract text from screenshots and translate screenshot content. • In-page translation Collect translatable text from the current webpage and display translated content directly on the page. • Page element selection Select one or multiple page elements and analyze the associated text or images together. • AI conversation Continue asking questions based on the selected page content and the current analysis result. • Rich results and export View text, image, chart, list, and other structured results, then copy or download supported content. • Local session history Display copies of previous sessions can be stored locally for convenient viewing. Local records can be cleared at any time from the extension settings. Privacy: FocusBoom processes webpage text, selected elements, screenshots, or page translation content only after the user initiates the relevant action. Users are shown an authorization notice before screenshots are uploaded for analysis. Account information is used for authentication and usage quota management. Optional interaction statistics may be used to improve personalized recommendations and can be disabled or deleted by the user. FocusBoom does not sell user data or use it for advertising, lending, or purposes unrelated to the extension’s core functionality.
