Add the Chrome extension to block distracting websites during focus sessions. Free, with no account required. MAKE TIME FOR FOCUSED WORK • Set your focus, short-break, and long-break durations. • Start breaks yourself or enable automatic breaks after focus. • Press Space to start, pause, or resume the timer. • See the remaining time in your browser tab. • Choose completion sounds and volume, with optional website notifications. BLOCK THE SITES THAT PULL YOU AWAY • Add YouTube, Instagram, or any domains you choose. Subdomains are included. • Manage your blocked-site list and settings directly on focusbind.com. • Pausing or resetting a focus timer keeps websites blocked. • Choose a 60-second wait, 100 clicks, or a continuous 30-second Space hold to end focus early. • After completed focus, unblock without an early-exit challenge. Breaks allow websites by default; change this in Settings. • Restore the original blocked link when access returns. SEE YOUR PROGRESS • Track focused time, completed Pomodoros, and partial sessions. • Select days in the seven-day chart or yearly activity grid. • Filter session history by date, focus sessions, or breaks. • Delete mistaken sessions, clear a day or your history, and undo the last deletion. YOUR DATA STAYS IN YOUR BROWSER Timers, session names, history, settings, and unlock challenges run on the website and are stored locally. The extension handles selected domains, active blocks, blocking expiry, and local recovery. It does not read page contents, monitor typing on other websites, or keep a browsing log. Focus data is not uploaded to a server. No account or cloud sync. Chrome requests website access at installation so you can block domains of your choice. Only the domains you select and their subdomains are blocked. Keep focusbind.com open for completion alerts and automatic breaks. Normal running focus blocks can expire with the website closed; paused or reset blocks remain until resumed, ended, or recovered through the extension's options. Focusbind supports your own focus habits. Chrome still lets you disable the extension, and the recovery screen can restore access when needed.
