Focus Tab Locker is a lightweight productivity extension designed to reduce tab-switching distractions. Lock your browser to a single tab and stay focused during important work sessions. Key Features Single-Tab Focus: Choose one tab as your focus tab. While Focus Mode is active, switching to another tab redirects you back to the selected tab. Blocker Overlay: When you open or switch to another website tab, Focus Tab Locker can show a full-screen overlay telling you to return to your locked tab. (Chrome restricted pages may not support overlays.) Restart Handling: If Chrome reopens the previously locked tab after a browser restart, Focus Tab Locker reconnects to that tab. If Chrome starts with a clean window or the locked tab is not restored, Focus Mode automatically turns off. Non-Destructive: Focus Tab Locker does not close your existing tabs. Your tabs remain available after you unlock Focus Mode. How to Use 1. Navigate to the tab you want to focus on 2. Click the Focus Tab Locker icon in the toolbar to enable Focus Mode 3. Click the icon again to disable Focus Mode when finished Privacy Focus Tab Locker operates entirely locally. It stores Focus Mode state and the locked tab URL on your device using Chrome storage. No data is collected, transmitted, sold, or stored externally.
