Focus Penguin hides the distracting parts of a few sites: distracting doom scrolling feeds, news sidebars, recommendation rails. while leaving the parts you actually came for (LinkedIn Jobs, YouTube search etc.). Every single element it can hide is its own on/off toggle in the popup, so you can choose what to focus on. Supports: LinkedIn (feed, notification badges, sidebars, top nav), YouTube (homepage, Shorts, Subscriptions, watch-page related videos/comments, sidebar sections), X/Twitter (right sidebar, extra nav items), Substack (discover feed). Privacy: runs entirely in your browser. No network requests, no analytics, no accounts, no data collection of any kind, the source is small enough to read end to end in a few minutes.
