Focus Filter for YouTube
Overview
Filter your YouTube feed to only show videos that match your focus. Block distractions, stay on topic.
Focus Filter for YouTube helps you take back control of your YouTube feed. Set your focus topic by adding keywords like "cricket", "python", or "cooking" — and the extension filters out every video on your homepage, search results, and sidebar that doesn't match. No more getting pulled into politics, comedy, or random recommendations when you came for something specific. HOW IT WORKS - Type a keyword and press Enter to add it - Turn on Focus Mode using the toggle - Videos not matching your keywords get dimmed or hidden instantly - Stats update live showing how many videos are shown vs filtered FEATURES - Keyword pills — add and remove topics instantly - Dim or Hide mode — fade non-matching videos or remove them entirely - Block all Shorts — removes Shorts shelves completely, or filters them by keyword when toggled off - Live stats — see exactly how many videos are filtered on the current page - Auto-saves — every change saves instantly, no save button needed - Works on homepage, search results, sidebar, and Up Next PRIVACY This extension does not collect, transmit, or share any data whatsoever. Your keywords are stored locally in your browser's built-in sync storage. No analytics, no tracking, no servers, no accounts required.
