Overview
Transcribe WhatsApp Web voice notes with ElevenLabs Scribe v2 and read them in Latin letters — 90+ languages, 25 writing systems.
Turn WhatsApp Web voice messages into text you can read. Free, open source, and the audio never plays. WhatsApp Web has no transcribe button. This adds one. A Transcribe button appears under every voice note in every chat, and one click turns it into text right inside the conversation. No headphones, no scrubbing back, no waiting until you find a quiet moment. WHEN YOU NEED IT You are at work and someone sends a two minute voice message. You do not want to sit through it, you just want to know what it says. You are in public with no headphones. You are not putting a voice note on speaker, and you are not digging out earbuds to hear one sentence. You are in a meeting, on a call, or listening to music and do not want to stop. You want to search a voice note later. Once it is text, it stays in the chat. 90+ LANGUAGES, DETECTED AUTOMATICALLY English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Romanian, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Czech, Hungarian, Greek, Turkish, Russian, Ukrainian, Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati, Indonesian, Malay, Vietnamese, Thai, Filipino, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Swahili and many more. You never pick a language from a menu. It also handles people who switch language halfway through a sentence, which is where most transcription tools give up. READ ANY SCRIPT IN LATIN LETTERS If a voice message is in a language that is not written in the Latin alphabet, the transcript is converted into Latin letters on your own machine, at no extra cost. Здравствуйте, спасибо большое -> Zdravstvuyte, spasibo bolshoye 안녕하세요, 감사합니다 -> annyeonghaseyo, gamsahamnida मुझे कल चाहिए -> mujhe kal chahiye 25 writing systems are supported: Cyrillic, Greek, Arabic, Hebrew, Armenian, Georgian, Devanagari, Bengali, Gurmukhi, Gujarati, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Sinhala, Thaana, Korean Hangul, Japanese Kana, Chinese, Thai, Lao, Khmer, Burmese and Ethiopic. This is transliteration, not translation. The words stay in their own language and simply become readable. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No backend. No analytics. No accounts. Nothing reaches the developer.
