Tackit puts sticky-note sheets right on top of the websites you use. Write a note on a page, and it's there again, in the same place, every time you come back, on every computer where you sign in. THREE KINDS OF SHEETS • Website sheets: show on every page of a site (for example, all of github.com) • Page sheets: show only on one specific page • Element sheets: attach a note next to a specific part of a page, like a product title or a form field. It follows that element even when the page layout changes. PIN A NOTE TO ANYTHING Drag the pin out of a sheet and drop it on any part of the page. A line links the two, straight when they line up and curving when they don't, so the sheet can sit wherever it's out of your way. EASY TO USE • Create a sheet from the toolbar button or with Alt+Shift+S (you can change the shortcut) • Drag, resize (also when collapsed), collapse, or keep a sheet on screen while you scroll • Six colors to organize your notes • Simple formatting: headings, bullet and numbered lists, checklists you can tick, bold, italic and links • Sheets come back exactly where you left them, even after reloading the page, restarting the browser or resizing the window • Works on modern web apps that change pages without reloading SYNCED ACROSS YOUR COMPUTERS Your notes are saved in your Tackit account, so they're the same on every computer where you sign in. They're also kept in your browser, so Tackit keeps working offline and catches up when you're back online. SHARE BY LINK • Share all the notes on a page (including ones you add later), or a single note • Choose for each link: view only, or allow editing • Anyone with the link can read the notes in their browser. People with Tackit can show them right on the page. • Stop sharing any time: the link stops working right away MY SHEETS See every note in one place, grouped by website and page. Search titles, notes and addresses instantly, edit notes, or jump straight to the page a note belongs to. Manage your share links under My Sheets → Sharing. FREE, WITH A FREE ACCOUNT Tackit is free, with every feature included. There's no trial and nothing to buy. Create a free account with your email address and a password, and sign in to use Tackit. Signing out removes your notes from that browser; sign in again and they're back. If Tackit saves you time, you can buy me a coffee on Ko-fi. It's optional and unlocks nothing. PRIVACY • Your notes, and the addresses of the pages they're on, are saved in your account so they can sync. Your browsing history is not collected. • Websites can't read your sheets: they're kept separate from the page • Notes you share can be read by anyone with the link • No ads, no tracking Privacy policy: https://sticky-admin-chi.vercel.app/privacy.html WHY TACKIT ASKS FOR ACCESS TO WEBSITES Chrome shows this as "Read and change all your data on all websites". Tackit needs it so it can show your notes on any site you choose. It reads the page address to find the notes for that page. For a sheet attached or pinned to an element, it also saves a few words of that element's text (up to 80 characters) so it can find the element again.
