Gemini Enter Key Control is a browser extension designed to prevent accidental sends while you're still writing, so you can send only when you're ready. ✨ Latest update (October 2, 2026) Improved the permission flow for additional services so that features are enabled immediately after access is granted. Settings and site permission states are now synchronized more reliably, making it easier to start using these features. ■ How to use 1. Install the extension 2. If a supported service is already open, reload that page once 3. Use Enter for new lines and Shift+Enter to send The extension is enabled by default. If needed, open the extension from your browser toolbar to change the send shortcut, turn Enter-key control on or off, or choose which services you want to use. ■ Main features ・Enter inserts a new line instead of sending immediately ・Send only when you're ready ・Choose your preferred send shortcut ・Choose from Shift+Enter, Ctrl+Enter, Cmd+Enter, and other options ・Enable or disable supported services individually ・Designed to work smoothly with IME input ・Helps prevent duplicate sends caused by holding down a key ・Change settings anytime from the extension popup ■ Supported services The following official web services are supported. ・Gemini ・Gemini Notebook ・Google Chat ・Google Flow ・Google Search AI Mode For chat services, supported input fields displayed inside the mail interface are also covered. Email composition, reply, subject, search, and other unrelated fields are not affected. In the current Flow environment, the extension is available only when “Shift+Enter” is selected as the send shortcut. For Google Search, the extension applies only to the input field after entering AI Mode. It does not apply to the standard search box or input fields before entering AI Mode.
