Clean Capture is a simple screenshot extension for Chrome that lets you save a full webpage or capture a selected area. Take a scrolling screenshot, preview the result, and download it as PNG, JPG or PDF and all on your device. Save useful articles, keep an order confirmation, collect design references, or capture a page for a support request. No accounts, no uploads, and no complicated editing menus. 📸 FULL PAGE SCREEN CAPTURE Need more than the part of a webpage visible on your screen? Choose Full page and Clean Capture automatically scrolls the main document, capturing and joining its sections into one long image. You don’t need to take separate screenshots and stitch them together yourself. • Capture long articles, landing pages and other supported webpages • Follow capture progress on the extension icon • Preview your image before downloading • Return to your original scroll position after capture Keep the source tab active while the capture runs. ✂️ SELECT AN AREA WITH YOUR MOUSE Only need a chart, image, paragraph or part of a page? Choose Select area, drag a rectangle, and release to capture your selection. It works like a snipping tool inside Chrome. Selection uses a frozen view of the visible page, so moving content won’t shift underneath your mouse. Press Escape to cancel and start again. 📥 DOWNLOAD PNG, JPG OR PDF Choose the format that fits your task: • PNG - Preserve sharp text and fine details with a lossless image. • JPG / JPEG - Create a smaller image for sharing or attaching to emails. • PDF -Save your capture across A4 pages for printing or keeping with your documents. PDF exports contain screenshot images, not selectable or searchable text. ✨ A SIMPLE PREVIEW Your capture opens in a clean, uncluttered preview. • Fit the image to the window or inspect it at actual size • Choose your download format • Change the filename before saving • Download the same capture in another format • Delete the locally stored capture when you no longer need it 🔒 PROCESSED ON YOUR DEVICE Clean Capture handles screen capture in Chrome without sending your screenshots to a server. • No account or sign-in • No screenshot uploads • No analytics or tracking • No external screenshot service • Access to the page you explicitly choose to capture Recent captures are stored locally in the extension. It keeps up to five captures; older entries and captures more than 24 hours old are removed when you save a new capture. You can also delete a capture directly from its preview. 🚀 HOW TO USE CLEAN CAPTURE 1. Open a webpage and click the Clean Capture icon. 2. Choose Full page or Select area. 3. Review your screenshot. 4. Select PNG, JPG or PDF and click Download. Pin the extension to your toolbar for quick access whenever you need a webpage screenshot. GOOD TO KNOW Full-page capture works with the main webpage’s scrolling content. Nested scrolling panels, virtualised lists and infinite feeds may not capture completely. Very large pages have capture limits, and some dynamic layouts may need a retry. Chrome settings, Chrome Web Store pages and browser PDF previews are not supported. Capture the page.
