The score is built from data already visible on the product page, such as certifications (USDA Organic, Fair Trade, ENERGY STAR, FSC, GOTS, Cradle to Cradle), Amazon-native labels like Climate Pledge Friendly, materials, origin, and packaging details, so it reflects what is actually stated rather than a guess. Where certifications are absent, Fluven falls back on category-level norms so every product still gets a defensible estimate rather than no answer at all.
