Netarx provides real-time deepfake detection via shared awareness of voice, video and email. This plug-in is installed automatically by our Flurp installer and shouldn't need to be installed manually. The term “deepfake” combines “deep learning,” a subset of AI, and “fake,” indicating the deceptive nature of the media. Deepfakes are synthetic media where artificial intelligence (AI) techniques are used to create or alter content. This content typically occurs in the form of voice, videos, and images where a person’s likeness is replaced with someone else’s. As deepfakes become increasingly realistic and harder to detect, they amplify the probability of success on social engineering attacks.
