The extension hiding that dumb Reels block just like i wanted, i am happy.

I used this for quite some time. For some reason, no matter what I do now, I can't turn off the Sponsored posts. I've followed the instructions. They aren't working for me. I want to continue to use this and recommend it, but it's not doing much of anything for me anymore.

Yeah, this is not only not 100%, every single time I log into FB, my page has a Group post front and center. I am not following the group, have all highlights and preferences in the group itself properly checked, and have diligently gone through each category and subcategory on FBP and everything checks out. I have everything, including group posts, blocked. These Group posts weren't an issue before adding FBPurity to Chrome. I added it for a completely different reason to get rid of the cons... if the group posts you are seeing say "join" at the top, try putting the word join (without the quotation marks) into FBP's Text Filter, and see if that hides them.

This is worked beautifully for months - but starting 8/7/24 I'm suddenly getting barraged with sponsored ads again! Has facebook done something to make this fluff busting extension not work all of a sudden? Is there anything I can do? :-/ I've got a ratio of about 5 sponsored ads for every friends post!!!

I'm having the same problem as Sarah. I don't see the logo any more and am seeing LOTS of ads and sponsored posts. I went to the FAQ page to find trouble-shooting answers but there are SO SO many i have no idea where to start. Is there a way to just reinstall correctly, because that doesn't seem to be working either. I really MISS my Fluff Buster!!!

As explained in the FBP User Guide, there is more than one of opening the FBP options. You can do so even if the round FBP button is not displayed. Please check the User Guide page on FBPURITY.COM for more information on that. I don't see your app on my Facebook page anymore, though it says it's still on Chrome. Seeing lots of ads. Anything I need to do to get it reinstalled? Thanks so much!

This got rid of 90+% of the FB nonsense posts It's shocking someone had to do an app like this cos facebook just spam you so hard. This was helpful
