Amidst the rough, gray, and cracked coastal rocks, a cluster of tiny purple flowers reached towards the light. Their delicate petals, a soft purplish-pink, circled around a warm yellow center, standing out against the cold, dry rock. Thick green leaves, growing close to the ground, clung to the crevices of the rocks as if grasping at every precious glimmer of life. In the distance, the sun was setting below the horizon, painting the sky and the sea in a brilliant orange-yellow hue.
