FlowDeck for GitHub

Improve GitHub timelines, add quick replies, and preserve Unicode attachment filenames.

FlowDeck for GitHub is a local-first workflow assistant for GitHub conversations. - Timeline Loader is off by default and can automatically open GitHub's remaining timeline items on issue and pull request pages when enabled. - Quick Replies adds up to ten configurable buttons above the main issue and pull request comment field. - A Quick Reply inserts user-configured Markdown at the cursor without submitting the comment. - Quick Reply buttons can be added, edited, removed, and reordered in FlowDeck settings. - A configurable delay keeps the page responsive while items are inserted. - A configurable item limit pauses automatic expansion before very long conversations overwhelm the page. - Inline controls remain available while automatic loading is off or paused, and can expand all remaining items or approximately N items from the top or bottom. - An optional setting scrolls to the newest comment once loading settles, while preserving anchored direct links. - Downloads from visible-text GitHub user-attachments/files links keep the Unicode filename displayed on the page instead of a URL name that omits those characters. - Filename preservation works across writing systems, handles ordinary and modified clicks plus Save Link As, and safely shortens unusually long names. - Filename preservation is off by default and requests optional download-management permission only when enabled. Disabling it removes that permission. - Settings and Quick Replies stay in Chrome storage. Matching URL-to-filename suggestions are eligible for use for one minute; expired entries are ignored and removed on the next extension-worker read or wake, and Chrome clears session storage when the browser session ends. - FlowDeck has no server, telemetry, advertising, or requests to a developer-operated service. FlowDeck runs only on github.com and is not affiliated with or endorsed by GitHub, Inc.
