Scrolling Facebook Marketplace or eBay for things to flip? FlipTip tells you in one click whether a listing is worth buying — before you message the seller. Open a listing and press the ⚡ FlipTip button in the corner. FlipTip takes the listing's photo, title and the seller's asking price, identifies exactly what the item is, checks what it really sells for, and shows the answer right on the page: • What it really resells for — based on real sold prices where they exist, not asking prices • The most you should pay to still make a profit after fees and shipping • Buy or skip at the seller's price — your profit and return at the asking price, converted to your currency • The exact model, worked out from the photo rather than the seller's title • Defects the seller mentions in the description are taken into account After a check, the button turns green or red and shows the most you should pay. FlipTip remembers the result, so the verdict is still there when you come back, and your recent checks are one click away in the toolbar. The button appears on the listing pages of popular second-hand marketplaces in the US and Europe. On any other site, right-click the item's photo and choose "Check with FlipTip", or use the toolbar button. How it works 1. Open a listing — the button appears in the corner. 2. Press "Check with FlipTip". The photo, title and price are filled in for you; you can change them first. 3. FlipTip opens in a small window and runs the check with your account. The verdict appears back on the listing. What you need A free FlipTip account (sign in with Google or e-mail at fliptip.ai). Each check uses one scan of your plan. The free plan includes daily scans; paid plans add real sold prices, more scans and FlipTip's other reseller tools. Privacy The extension reads only the listing you are looking at, and only to show its button. Nothing is sent until you press "Check with FlipTip" — then only that listing's photo, title, description and price go to your own FlipTip account.
