Overview

See who runs the wifi on every flight, and whether you can actually work on it, before you book.

Google Flights tells you a flight has "Wi-Fi for a fee." It never tells you whether that wifi can hold a video call. FlightWifi adds that answer to every flight you look at, right on the results page: • Video calls work — low-orbit satellite (Starlink and similar), fast enough for Zoom and Teams • Email & browsing — high-orbit satellite or ground network; fine for mail, chat and docs, not live calls • Fast on some flights — every aircraft has wifi, the speed depends which one you get • Not guaranteed — part of the fleet has no wifi at all, and the schedule will not say which aircraft you get • No Wi-Fi — no usable internet on this aircraft WHERE IT WORKS • Google Flights: verdicts on the results list and inside expanded flight details. When Google's own data names the exact aircraft, the verdict is aircraft-exact, not a fleet average. • Skyscanner: verdicts on the results list, plus exact per-flight verdicts on the booking page. Hover any chip for the full picture: the provider, what the connection is good for, cost and free tiers, the exact aircraft, and where the data comes from.
