FlightWifi – In-Flight Wi-Fi & Starlink Checker
Overview
See who runs the wifi on every flight, and whether you can actually work on it, before you book.
Google Flights can tell you that a flight has Wi-Fi. But it doesn't tell you what kind of connection you'll get or what it's actually good for. FlightWifi adds that context directly to the flight results: • Fast enough for video calls — low-earth-orbit satellite connections can support demanding work, where airline policy allows • Email & browsing — high-orbit satellite or ground networks, suitable for email, chat and documents • Varies by aircraft — the airline has Wi-Fi across its fleet, but performance depends on the aircraft • Wi-Fi on some legs — at least one flight segment doesn't have Wi-Fi • Wi-Fi, speed unknown — Wi-Fi is reported, but the provider or connection speed isn't verified • No Wi-Fi — no usable internet on the aircraft • Not verified — there isn't enough reliable data to determine the Wi-Fi situation WHERE IT WORKS • Google Flights: verdicts on the results list and inside expanded flight details. When Google's own data names the exact aircraft, the verdict is aircraft-specific rather than a fleet average. • Skyscanner: verdicts on the results list, plus exact per-flight verdicts on the booking page. Hover over any chip for the full picture: provider, connection type, what it's good for, pricing, the exact aircraft, and where the data comes from.
