Overview

Keep a local, filtered history of recent network requests for the current tab, even when DevTools was closed.

Flight Recorder helps developers preserve recent network request context for the tab they are actively debugging. Use it when a redirect, retry, auth failure, or initialization request happens before you remember to open Chrome DevTools. Start recording for a tab, keep working, then inspect the requests later from a local timeline. Key features: - Record recent network activity for the active tab you choose. - Keep data local to the current browser session. - Filter requests by search, method, status, type, and errors. - Inspect sanitized request and response headers. - Optionally capture request payload summaries. - Export sessions as JSON or HAR. - Copy a sanitized cURL command for a selected request. What Flight Recorder does not do: - It does not modify requests. - It does not capture response bodies. - It does not upload recorded data to a remote service. Flight Recorder is designed for focused debugging, not as a proxy or packet inspector.
