Flickémon

Unofficial fan project. Gamify FlickPlayer studying with Pokémon! Battle, catch, evolve — all while watching lectures.

Flickémon is an unofficial, non-profit educational study companion designed to make long lecture sessions on Flick (flick.docchula.com) engaging and rewarding. Studying through hours of medical and academic lectures can be grueling. Flickémon encourages focused attention by converting verified video watch time into experience points (EXP) and progression for your companion monsters. 🎮 CORE FEATURES: • Study-Driven Progression: Watch course lectures to train, level up, and evolve your companion roster. • Encounter System: Encounter wild creatures during your lectures. Choose between "Capture Mode" to expand your collection or "EXP Mode" for accelerated leveling. Guaranteed captures for rare encounters! • Cross-Device Study Sync: Studied on an iPad, phone, or library computer without the extension? Log back in on your main browser to receive offline study credit and celebration rewards. • Whole-Webpage Theme: Toggle an authentic retro dark theme across the entire Flick platform, including custom headers, progress bars, and course module cards. • Classmate Battles & Trading: Challenge classmates to peer-to-peer asynchronous battles or trade duplicate captures. • Honest Study Economy: The in-game mart uses study coins earned solely through lecture watch time—there are zero paid shortcuts or real-money transactions. • Low-Distraction Companion: Runs seamlessly alongside your lecture video without interrupting your study focus. 🔒 PRIVACY & TRANSPARENCY: • 100% free of charge and open-source. • Zero commercial activity: no ads, no subscriptions, no paid tiers, and no microtransactions. • Data is strictly used to persist study progress and companion stats. We do not track external browsing or sell data. ⚖️ NOTICE & LEGAL INFORMATION: Flickémon is an independent, non-commercial educational project developed by medical students for academic study aid purposes.
