Overview
Create MyParcel labels from any website. Retrieve all the information you need to create a shipping label in one click.
FAQ: (English) – Why does the extension ask for so many permissions? The extension needs access to all data in all webpages because it fetches addresses using the HTML on the webpage you visit. It needs to "read and change data" on all sites to both fetch the address data and map fields from any site you visit while the extension is open. Reading data is needed to get the address data from the website you visit and want to create a shipment from. The box and tooltip around elements you hover your mouse over while mapping are inserted into the HTML (and removed/hidden after), which explains the "changing data" part. The data the extension saves (in your browser's synchronized storage) are the mappings you make in "Instellingen > Velden mappen" Example: If you map a few fields on "mywebshop.com/orders?id=32" it will save the following entry to the storage: "myparcel-mapping-mywebshop.com", with its value being something along the lines of: "{person:<css selector>,company:<css selector>}" etc, which is a JSON encoded object containing all the fields you've mapped. We don't save this data anywhere ourselves. The data that is sent to our backoffice (which is what runs inside the popup) are the website URL and the HTML contents it may or may not have found in the fields that were either mapped by you or pre-mapped by us. Example: { person: "Mr. Parcel", company: "MyParcel", postal_code: "2132WT", ... } This data is put in the corresponding fields and it will be handled the same way as if you were to create a shipment "manually" through the regular shipment form in our backoffice. The only difference is we do keep track of the URL of the website you've created a shipment from. This is used for internal insights, for example if we notice a lot of shipments being created on an e-commerce platform we don't have a plug-in for, we might decide to start developing one.
