Turn a rough AI prompt into a clear one - privately. RefineIQ is a prompt improver that rewrites your messy draft into a single, well-structured prompt — built to preserve your intent, add nothing you didn't say, and stay under 500 characters. Works with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or any site with a text box. Select text in any field and click Refine, press Alt+Shift+R, or use the built-in scratchpad in the toolbar popup: type a draft, refine, copy. OR JUST SAY IT Focus a prompt field and tap the Voice button (or press Alt+Shift+V): speak your rough draft, stop talking, and the transcript lands at your cursor — pre-selected so Refine is one tap away. Speech is transcribed entirely on your device by a small open model; audio never leaves your machine, and there is no cloud speech service involved. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT On-device mode runs a small language model entirely in your browser (WebGPU, with a WebAssembly fallback). Nothing you type leaves your machine, and it works offline after a one-time model download. There is no account, no tracking, and no RefineIQ server. BRING YOUR OWN KEY (OPTIONAL) Prefer a larger model? Connect your own OpenRouter or Hugging Face API key. Your prompt then goes directly to that provider with your key — never through us. Cloud is off until you turn it on and grant explicit consent.
