Bathcards: collect a unit from Moodle

Collects the lectures and readings of one Moodle unit, when you ask, and sends them to the Bathcards app on this computer.

Description Turns the lectures and readings on a University of Bath Moodle unit into flashcards, without saving files by hand. Open a unit's main page on Moodle, click the extension, tick the sections you want and press Collect. It uses the Moodle session you are already signed in to, downloads that unit's files, and hands them to the flashcards app running on your own computer. Nothing is uploaded to anyone's server. WHAT IT DOES - Lists the sections of the unit you are looking at, and how many files each holds. - Collects only the files you tick. Lecture decks arrive first, so you can start making cards while the readings are still coming. - Remembers what it already has. Open a unit later in term and press Collect, and only the new material is fetched. - Matches files by their Moodle id, so collecting a unit again keeps your highlights and cards attached to the same sources rather than duplicating them. - Stops and tells you if your Moodle login has lapsed, rather than quietly saving dozens of sign-in pages named like lectures. WHAT YOU NEED - The flashcards desktop app, running on the same computer. The extension sends what it collects to that app and nowhere else; on its own it does nothing. - A University of Bath Moodle account. This extension only works with moodle.bath.ac.uk. - An invite code for the app. This is a closed beta.
