Flanger gives musicians local realtime practice tools for compatible HTML5 media playback. Use it while practicing with web-based media to adjust tempo, loop sections, re-pitch audio or play selected stems directly in the browser. Stem splitting is started only when you choose to run it from the Flanger interface. Audio processing happens locally on your GPU. FEATURES: - User-controlled local stem splitting for compatible HTML5 media - Realtime automatic BPM detection - Looping and tempo control tools - Formant aware re-pitching - DAW-style waveform view aligned to the beat grid - Mixer and Sections views that keep the original video visible GPU ACCELERATION All audio processing happens locally on your device. For the best stem-splitting performance, make sure hardware acceleration is enabled in Chrome. To check your setup, open chrome://gpu and look for: - WebGPU: Hardware accelerated - Vulkan: Enabled, if available on your system PRIVACY NOTES: Flanger does not record microphone input, does not use tabCapture, and does not upload or share media audio. DRM-protected or unsupported media won't work. Compatible media audio is not processed until you open Flanger.
