Flame Browser Bridge
Overview
Connect Chrome to Flame IDE so approved AI agent actions can inspect, debug, and control browser tabs.
Flame Browser Bridge gives Flame IDE agents an observable, permission-gated connection to your real Chrome profile. Pair the extension with a short-lived code generated inside Flame, then approve browser actions through Flame's normal agent permission flow. Key capabilities: * Inspect, activate, navigate, and debug Chrome tabs. * Read rendered page content, accessibility-oriented element details, console output, and network activity. * Capture viewport, full-page, or element screenshots. * Send trusted mouse and keyboard input and run page JavaScript. * Read, set, and delete cookies after approval. * Apply per-tab request and response header overrides that are removed on pause or disconnect. * Share a redacted activity trail so agents can understand recent clicks, focus, and scrolling without passively collecting typed values. The bridge connects only to Flame on localhost or 127.0.0.1. You can pause, forget, or revoke the connection at any time. Debugger sessions, temporary header rules, and extension log buffers are cleaned up when the bridge disconnects.
