JSON Lens is a fast, private JSON viewer and editor that lives in your browser. Open any JSON — an API response, a .json file, a payload in a web app — and get a proper code editor: syntax highlighting, line numbers, folding, bracket matching, find and replace, and multiple cursors. FEATURES • Select JSON on any page and choose "Open in JSON Lens" from the right-click menu • Optionally detect JSON URLs and .json files and offer to open them in JSON Lens, or always open them on sites you choose (you grant site access only if you turn this on) • Format and minify without changing your data: big numbers, decimals and escapes are kept exactly as written • Right-click any key or value to copy the key, the value, both, or its path in six common formats • Search keys, values or both, with plain text or regular expressions, and step through every match • The status bar shows the path to wherever your cursor is • Clear errors: a wavy underline at the problem and a one-click "Go to error" • Fold any object or array, or fold everything at once • Paste, drag and drop, or open .json, .jsonl and .ndjson files • Follows your system's light or dark mode, or choose from 13 editor themes • Handles large files: tens of megabytes stay smooth PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything happens on your computer.
